A new and innovative program designed to provide an affordable opportunity for adults 50 years and older to participate, train, and/or compete in sports of their choice throughout the year. An initiative of the Senior Games of San Antonio, Sports for LIfe’s goal is to ensure that San Antonio’s Fifty-Plus population has the opportunity to develop and/or maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Our Mission: To develop a year-round mentally and physically challenging program for San Antonio’s Fifty-Plus population. The results will be two-fold, a healthy and active lifestyle and the opportunity to train for the Sports for Life/Senior Games of San Antonio. Thanks to the generous donations from the City of San Antonio, Sports for Life will coordinate and/or conduct clinics in the areas of specific sports techniques, exercise, health, and sports nutrition. Sports for Life will be a channel of information and serve as a guide to assist the Fifty-Plus population of San Antonio to attain healthy lifestyles through education, fitness and sports.
